Once again another busy year draws to a close. Principle Engineering is now looking forward to an exciting 2014.

In February we will exhibit at the Southern Manufacturing exhibition, celebrating the company’s expansion with a larger stand and a new principal company from Germany which we will be representing in the UK and Ireland; SycoTec.

The SycoTec range of products include high speed spindles for drilling and routing, custom motor elements and custom motors, and have been developed from the company’s prestigious roots of the Kavo organisation.

Of course our existing GRW precision ball bearings and British Encoder products will also be on display along with some interesting applications.

We hope that you will visit us on stand Q54. Just come to the exhibition, turn right and you will find us in the second block on the right hand side.

High frequency precision spindles with optimised inverters and power supplies
Customised precision motors
Customised motor elements

SycoTec have a very proud heritage going back to 1909 when the company was formed by Mr Kaltenbach and Mr Voigt. Dental hand pieces of high repute were the foundations of the very highest quality spindles they produce today.

We are a family operated business with a combined experience of over 70 years in Engineering. David Pillar (Managing Director) started the company in 2008 with the clear goal of, above all else, putting people first. We believe that only the highest quality of service will do and that communication with our customers is key. We call our customers back when we say we will and always inform them of anything that may affect their order.

We were thrilled when John Goacher joined us in 2011. John’s main role is as Business Development Manager, a role in which he excels. Whether its new customers, new markets or new products, he is constantly exploring the benefits for all parties.

John and Dave are both ‘time-served’ Engineers, having come through the apprenticeship route. This adds a down to earth, analytical approach to solving technical challenges. Having worked in a wide range of roles throughout their careers, they have the ability to communicate with people at all levels of their business.
